Whilst we believe the Skycab Telecom router is unparalleled in its class, we recognise that some customers wish to use their own router. In this case, the following settings will need to be entered into the router manually.
- Username: This is your telephone number followed by @skycabtelecom. For example, 01234567890@skycabtelecom
- Password: We use automated network authentication so there is no need for a password. You can leave this blank.
- VPI: Set this to 0
- VCI: Set this to 38
- MTU: Set this to 1432
- DNS: Set as automatic (or similar)
- Encapsulation: Set to PPP over ATM (PPPoA) using VC-MUX
- Modulation Type: Set to Auto
It is highly recommended to use a wired connection with your computer to set this up, prior to configuring a wifi network - simply plug the Ethernet cable into your device. Then plug the other end into any of the yellow Ethernet ports on the back of your router.

Once you've updated and saved your configuration, reboot your router and check you can access the internet before attempting to reconnect (or setup) the wifi.
